A Quick Trip to Dallas
A few days after we got back from Kansas, Shaun had to go to Dallas for business. This time we all got to tag along! Since it was a business trip we got to go on a Thursday and Friday. This was the first time since we moved away that I got to go back on a weekday. The reason this was so nice is because I finally got to go back to my old school and see everyone. It was so nice to be back at McKamy and reminded me just how great my co-workers there really were. It was a fantastic school to be a part of and I really miss that.
We also got to spend some time with great friends while in town. Thank you Danna and Michael for letting us stay with you and hosting everyone over to your house!!!! It is so funny how much can change in just a few years. When we left Dallas there were no kids and we spent many evenings going out to dinner, having a few drinks, and playing games until late in the night. Now, everyone has kids (most have 2) and we spent our evening together helping little ones eat pizza, chasing kids around the house, and playing with toys. When we did attempt a game, we had to do it in shifts. Even though it is a little different, it is still great to see such fantastic friends. Unfortunately, I didn't get to take many pictures or you would see some adorable kiddos running around! We did spend our last day in town with Doug and took the kids to the Dallas World Aquarium (one of my favorite places).
Brayden and Daddy checking out the animals.
Doug helping Larkin see a little bit better!
Trying to find the alligator!
Some of the scenery at the aquarium.
Sitting in/under the shark tank.
The kids loved watching to sharks swim around them!
Check out their Nemo hats!
