Almost a Family of Four

Just before we left for the hospital on Friday morning.

Brayden James Grimm Arrives!

A scheduled c-section was very nice! We arrived at the hospital a little after 8 am and got ready. Brayden was born on Feb. 26, 2010 at 10:28 am. He weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and was 21 in. long.

Larkin had a great few days at home with Aunt Jackie, but she was excited to see the baby at home. I don't think she had realized yet that he was going to stay permanently!


Having fun with Aunt Jackie. She is the best. She cooked, cleaned, took care of Larkin while we were at the hospital, and us when we got home. We sure miss her!!!!!

February Fun

February was a busy month. We were trying to get ready for our new baby boy. Mommy finished up her last day of work (indefinitely!), Larkin finished her last day of daycare, and Daddy just pretty much took care of all those last minute details. Even though we were busy we still had plenty of fun!

Baby Shower Time!

My wonderful team from school threw us a diaper shower. I think we are set for the rest of the summer!

Christmas Time

This year we had a nice and quiet holiday at home. We spent lots of time playing, relaxing, and Shaun worked more on the nursery!


This has been Hannah's favorite place to hide for the past month. Larkin's favorite thing to do is shout, "Hannah! Here kitty, kitty!" Hannah tries not to pay much attention. Poor kitty, between a huge dog, another cat, and a toddler she gets no peace and quiet. She is in for another surprise in February as well!

Fun With Packages!
Even though we were far from family and friends we still felt like you were close by. Thank you for all of the warm wishes, calls, and very thoughtful gifts!

Larkin had lots of fun taking her time and opening each package.

A Visit From Family!

December was a great month. It brought us lots of visitors and even more fun! Aunt Mary and Uncle Mark the Great flew all the way from Vermont for a visit and Uncle Gary and Aunt Jackie from California came out to surprise them as well.
